Continuing in the Prototype tradition but created to address what was happening on the vert ramps Airwalk introduced the 540. This upper focused on a streamlined, lighter weight design using less layers and smaller molded parts without losing durability, while the bottom had an improved tread pattern for board grip and flexibility. The most significant change addressed the damage from frequent knee slides with the now iconic lace saver. This white colorway was originally called the Furnace. This style is exclusive to Airwalk.com.
